 Species: Use to be a Komodo dragon...now a mixed species.

 Height:  6 ft

 Weight: 159 lbs.

 Favorite Food(s):  Anything meat.

 Personality: Hard exterior, will appear emotionless, can be cold, sometimes harsh. When she lets you in she softens up, smiles a little more, relaxes, humorous and playfully sarcastic. Confident, strong will.

 Likes:  Drinking, reading, killing, laughing, successful missions.

Dislikes: Unholy beings, Failure.

~Gahiji~

 Gahiji a cult like clan that call themselves demon hunters

          What the Gahiji does is once their children reaches the ages of 12-15 the parents will carve symbols into their bodies and prepare them for a ritual known as Mahant where their body will merge with the spirit of a freshly killed demon so it can inherit it’s dark essence and use these new demonic abilities in battle.

          What happens during this process is the demons blood fills the wounds of their recently damaged body and the bleeding carvings begin to heal and change to the color of the demons blood and become permanent markings on them. This ritual also requires you to fight the spirited demon within your own body or it’ll take over and possess you. If you are possessed you are immediately killed before you can do any damage.  You will be considered weak as in their eyes only the strong survive this process. Not only do you have to worry about the raging spirit that is being forced into your body/soul the ritual is extremely agonizing. And some may not survive from the pure pain alone and just die during the process.

          Syvella went through this process at age twelve. Her father carved the symbols into her neck, chest, arms, back and tail. She was so bloody and in so much pain during the engraving she was barely conscious about time she went to merge her soul with a freshly slain demon. The cuts on her neck were the worse as she struggled to breath shortly after he made the incisions. She doesn’t know why he chose her neck of all places. Something about going for the more sensitive places would make her stronger. She called bullshit on that excuse. The Mahant was so agonizing she passed out near the end. She was out for days and most believed she wasn’t going to make it…but she did. She woke up 5 days, nearly a week after the ritual and observed her body. She saw the green markings illuminated from where the carvings once were-she could feel the new demonic energy pulse within her veins.  The whole time she was unconscious she was battling the demons soul within her that attempted to take over her. Seeing she was awake and could no longer hearing the demons haunting voice she couldn’t help but feel  a little pride that she was…well, alive.

          As soon as her father saw she was awake there was no more time to rest and she was set out to train immediately. She was always working, if she wasn’t cramming knowledge into her head she was out fighting, with her father merely watching in the background. Her father brought her along with his missions then had her finish the job for him. It didn’t matter how impossible the odds were, he would have her face the challenges and learn how to strategize in the heat of combat. The trainings were cruel and life threatening but it taught her how to be a survivor. 

          All Gahiji members use their new found demonic abilities in different ways. Some summon demons, some increase their strength, illusionists, etcetera. Syvella did something unheard of with her abilities. She learned to change her shape. At first it was small things, like a dog or a cat…then she got better-changing into other people...and soon she nearly mastered it -changing into Dragons, Gryphons etcetera. Though she grew stronger the shape shifting had a side effect. It altered her overall appearance. She used to be a Komodo dragon and now she is a bit of a mix of the main creatures she shape shifts into. At first, members of the Gahiji responded negatively to her altered appearance, thinking she never defeated the spirit within her and now was becoming possessed by the demon; so without hesitation they tried to kill her. There was no reasoning as they  were positive she was now one with evil. Let’s just say, that day she put several people six feet under.  She did understand why they attacked her though; she herself was frightened when she saw she was no longer herself. Her scales were now covered in fur, her tail had a feathery appearance on the end, and what was the strangest for her were the two ears poking out from her hair. In her eyes she was hideous… for years after the event she was self-conscious about her looks. Always feeling ugly compared to all the other women.  But with age she grew use to seeing her reflection in the mirror, and she tried to cheer up about it. She was unique…and eventually after years of trying to bring up her self-esteem she forced herself to believe she was gorgeous.  Now days she truly does believe she is a beautiful woman, regardless what others may think of her odd appearance. In her mind “[She] is sexy as hell!”

         She is now one of the most revered members of the Gahiji. Majority members look up to her for answers and information. Unlike most of the Gahiji.  Syvella isn’t  completely emotionless. She is a killing machine but she has somehow retained her personality. The Gahiji always tries to force upon their members that emotions are weakness. A lot of times within the clan it is, but Syvella has somehow made it to the top with her humanity still intact. (Well...some of it still intact...) Though during missions she is as stoic as the others, emotionless, distant and feels nothing...at least…that is the appearance she will give off on duty.


~Random Facts~

The most common beast she turns into is a Grypphon or some type of altered sabortooth tiger.

She use to be loyal to the Gahiji without a question. But certain events are testing how loyal she really is...

For an unknown reason she always covers her eyes. Some wonder how she fights with hair in her eyes-but apparently she can do it.

Syvella has mastered the way of the sword, her specialty two handed swords, she is expert at close combat, and has studied the magical arts over her long life.
